Apisense Documentation¶
Apisense is an intelligent apiary monitoring system combining in-hive IoT sensors with AI-driven analysis. It enables remote readings of hive conditions, honey gain tracking, and early detection of colony health risks.
This site collects the public materials describing the solution from the product side and from the day-to-day application side.
Documentation sections¶
System Overview¶
Product overview: hardware (Hub, VitalSensor, Scale), software ecosystem, key value propositions, and a preview of the main screens in the Apisense Pro AI app.
Assistant¶
An intelligent chat integrated with your Apisense system — it reads VitalSensor data from the IoT devices in your hives, knows every note and inspection you've recorded, fetches the weather forecast over your apiary, and draws on the official Apisense manuals and video tutorials. Ask in your language, get the answer in the same language.
App Manual¶
Step-by-step walkthrough of Apisense Pro AI: registration and login, apiary and hive management, inspections, notes, tasks, alerts, and apiary sharing with collaborators.
Hardware setup¶
First-time setup of Apisense hardware: kit contents, connecting the Hub, installing the VitalSensor and Scale, and verifying that the devices work correctly.
Troubleshooting¶
A list of common problems with the devices (Hub, VitalSensor, Scale) and suggested solutions, including a diagnostic checklist for no Hub coverage.
Lab procedures¶
Field procedures the beekeeper performs independently: Nosema/Vairimorpha microscopy and the Varroa destructor sugar-roll test.
Samples¶
The seasonal program "Honey bee colony health, Spring 2026" — four sample-collection protocols (Varroa, live bees, brood comb section, dead bees), colony inspection guidelines, coordinator contacts, and the shipping address.
Downloads¶
Technical drawings of Apisense devices (Hub, VitalSensor) in PDF — for printing or in-field reference.
