How to edit or delete an entry

To edit a note or an inspection, use the pencil icon. To delete it, use the bin icon. Both icons are on the entry card. The same options are in the ⋮ menu in the entry details. You cannot undo a deletion.

How to edit a note

  1. Open the hive and go to the Notes tab.
  2. Tap the pencil icon on the note card. You can also open the note and select menu → Edit.
  3. Change the date, title, text, recording or attachments.
  4. Tap Save. The app shows Changes saved.

A note that you added to the whole apiary has a separate copy in each hive. A change in one hive does not change the other copies.

How to delete a note

  1. In the Notes tab, tap the bin icon on the note card. You can also open the note and select menu → Delete.
  2. The app asks Delete note?. Tap Delete.

When you delete an apiary note, the app deletes only the copy in this hive.

How to edit or delete an inspection

  • Edit: in the Inspection tab, tap the pencil next to the inspection, or open the inspection and select ⋮ → Edit. Go through the photos and questions. Tap Finish inspection. The app shows Inspection updated successfully.
  • Delete: tap the bin next to the inspection or select ⋮ → Delete. In the Delete inspection window, tap Delete. The app shows Inspection deleted successfully.

How to delete a frame photo analysis

  1. Open the hive and go to the FrameSense tab.
  2. Open the analysis result.
  3. Select menu → Delete. The app shows Analysis deleted successfully.

How to edit or delete an examination

Examinations (the Examinations tab) are part of the research programme. Research programme

  • Edit: tap the pencil next to the examination, or in the details select ⋮ → Edit. You can change all fields except the examination type. The app shows Examination updated successfully.
  • Delete: tap the bin next to the examination, or in the details select ⋮ → Delete. Confirm with the Delete button.

Good to know

  • You cannot undo the deletion of a note, an inspection, an examination or a frame analysis.
  • In a shared apiary, only a person with Full access can edit and delete entries. Other people see To edit this section, ask the owner for full access.
  • When your plan has expired, you cannot change or delete entries. You can still see them.
  • You cannot move an entry to a different hive. See An entry went to the wrong hive.
