What the inspection questions mean

Plan: Apisense AI and Apisense PRO AI

The inspection questions are not written into the app. The app gets them from the Apisense server, in your language. You answer each question with a choice, text or a number. If you do not know the answer, select I don't know.

Types of inspection questions

  • Choice question: answer Yes, No or I don't know. For a required question, the app goes to the next question automatically after you select an answer.
  • Text question: type the answer in the Enter your answer... field.
  • Number question: type a number in the Enter a number... field. The app accepts only numbers in the permitted range.

You can skip a question marked (optional). All other questions are required. The Back and Next buttons move between questions.

What a specific inspection question means

The app shows only the question text, with no extra description.

The set of questions depends on the time of year. Some questions show only in a part of the season. The questions are the same for each hive and each apiary. The Apisense team sets the questions.

What you see after you save the inspection

Open the inspection in the Inspection tab. The details show all questions with their answers. A question with no answer is marked Skip or No answer.

When you edit an inspection, the app uses the same questions that were there on the day you saved it. New questions from the server do not change old inspections.

Good to know

  • You cannot change the inspection questions or add your own questions. Save your own observations in a note.
  • You can correct an answer later. Open the inspection and select edit.
