Someone shared an apiary with me

Plan: Apisense AI and Apisense PRO AI

You see an invitation to another person's apiary on the Apiaries screen and in the Shared with me tab. Touch Accept to get access. The apiary shows in the Shared apiaries section. What you see and what you can change depends on the access level that the owner gave you.

How to accept or reject an invitation

  1. On the Apiaries screen, find the Apiary invitation banner. The banner shows who invites you, and the level in the Access: field.
  2. Touch Accept or Reject.

You can also open the invitation in the Shared with me tab:

  1. On the Apiaries screen, touch the share icon in the top bar.
  2. Select the Shared with me tab and touch the invitation.
  3. The Invitation screen shows the owner, the apiary and the access level. Touch Accept or Reject.

A notification also tells you about a new invitation.

What you see after you accept

The apiary shows on the Apiaries screen in the Shared apiaries section. Your own apiaries are separate.

  • When your level does not let you see a part of the apiary, you see Feature unavailable.
  • When your level does not let you edit, you see Read-only access and To edit this section, ask the owner for full access.
  • Only the owner manages the devices. You see Only the apiary owner can manage devices.

To get a higher access level, ask the apiary owner. Only the owner changes the level.

How to leave a shared apiary

  1. On the Apiaries screen, touch the share icon in the top bar.
  2. Select the Shared with me tab and touch the apiary.
  3. Touch Leave apiary.
  4. The app asks Leave apiary? and shows You'll lose access to this apiary. Confirm.

The owner gets a notification that you left the apiary.

Good to know

  • The owner can withdraw your access at any time. Then you get a notification.
  • To come back to the apiary after you rejected or left it, or after the owner withdrew your access, ask the owner for a new invitation.
