How to change the language, units and theme¶

You change the language, units and theme in Account settings. Go to the Apiaries screen, tap the three-dot menu and select Settings. A language change works immediately.

How to open the account settings¶

Open the Apiaries tab (or the screen of an apiary or a hive).
Tap the three-dot menu in the top bar.
Select Settings. The Account settings screen opens.

The Hives and Alerts tabs do not have this menu.

What you can change in the account settings¶

Language: العربية, Deutsch, English, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Türkçe. In Arabic, the app layout is from right to left.
Theme: Follow system, Light or Dark.
Units: Temperature unit (Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F)) and Weight unit (Kilograms (kg) or Pounds (lb)).
Account: Display name, Email, Mobile phone, Password.
Privacy: Consents and notifications, Terms of service, Privacy policy.

After you save, the app shows Settings updated successfully.

How to change your e-mail or password¶

E-mail: enter the New e-mail address and tap Send link. Click the verification link in the e-mail sent to the new address. Until then, the app shows Waiting for confirmation. You can undo the change with the Cancel change button.
Password: enter the New Password and Confirm Password. The password has min. 8 characters, a capital letter, a digit and a special character. The app shows Password changed successfully.

How to turn push notifications on or off¶

In Account settings, open Consents and notifications.
Switch Push notifications.
Tap Save.

When push is off, the alerts are not deleted. All alerts are in the Alerts tab. You cannot select which types of alerts come as push.

Names of apiaries and hives¶

You change the names of apiaries and hives in their own settings, not in the account settings. See How to change the name or location of an apiary.

How to delete your account¶

At the bottom of Account settings, tap Delete account, then Yes, delete. You lose access to all apiaries, hives, notes and data. You cannot undo this decision.

Good to know¶

The app has no profile screen and no profile photo.
You see the app version at the bottom of Account settings: Version {version}.
To sign out: the three-dot menu, then Sign Out.
