Research programme (pilot)

This part of the documentation is for participants of the Apisense research programme, run together with the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. Participants take samples from hives, run examinations and enter the results in the app.

If you do not have the Examinations and Samples features in the app, you are not in the programme and this part of the documentation does not apply to you.

What is in this part

  • Examinations: the sugar roll (Varroa) and Nosema/Vairimorpha microscopy, with how to do them and how to enter the result.
  • Samples: protocols for taking samples and shipping them to the lab.
  • Colony inspection: required frame photos and observations to record in the app.
  • Participant questions: examinations, storing and shipping samples.
