I do not see weather recommendations

Plan: Apisense PRO AI

Weather recommendations are in the Pro AI plan and work only in an apiary with a Hub. The app gets the location of the apiary from the Hub. The Hub must know its position and must connect to the server in the last 24 hours.

You have the AI plan

In the AI plan, the apiary card shows the weather forecast, but without recommendations. You get recommendations in the Pro AI plan. See AI and Pro AI plans.

The apiary has no Hub

An apiary without a Hub has no location. This is why the app does not know the weather forecast for this apiary and does not show recommendations. At this time, you cannot enter the apiary location manually in the app.

To get weather recommendations, add a Hub to the apiary: apiary screen → three dots → Settings → Hub section → Add Hub. Then scan the QR code of the Hub.

The message "Waiting for weather data from your location"

This message means that the Hub works, but the forecast for the apiary is not ready yet. The Hub sends its position some times each day, and the app gets the forecast one time each day, in the morning. So the forecast usually shows on the next day. Wait.

The Hub does not connect to the server

When the Hub did not connect to the server in the last 24 hours, the app does not get a new forecast. Then the apiary card shows that the forecast is old.

  1. Open the apiary screen.
  2. Tap the three dots, then Settings.
  3. In the Hub section, check Last report, LTE and Battery.
  4. When the Hub does not report, check that: the Hub is outdoors, the antennas point straight up, the panel is in the sun, and the place has mobile network coverage.

Good to know

  • At this time, an apiary without a Hub has no location in the app.
  • When the Hub has no GPS position, the location comes from the mobile network that the Hub connects to.

When nothing helps

Write to bee@apisense.ai. Give the name of the apiary and the serial number of the Hub.
