How to add several hives

Plan: Apisense AI and Apisense PRO AI

The app does not add several hives at the same time. You add hives one by one. After you save a hive, tap Add another hive. The wizard opens immediately for the next hive in the same apiary.

How to add several hives quickly

  1. Add the first hive. See How to add a hive.
  2. On the Hive added screen, tap Add another hive.
  3. Scan the devices of the next hive and enter its name.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Do steps 2-4 again. After the last hive, tap Done.

With Add another hive, the wizard stays in the same apiary. The number of frames from the previous hive stays filled in.

Good to know

  • Each hive has its own devices. You scan each device separately with its QR code.
  • The hive name must be different from the names of the other hives in this apiary.
  • One apiary can have up to 100 hives.
  • Your plan can limit the number of hives. During the trial period, the limit is lower. See AI and Pro AI plans.
