How to change the access level or withdraw a share¶
Plan: Apisense AI and Apisense PRO AI
You change the access level on the Sharing details screen. There you also withdraw the invitation. After you withdraw it, the person loses access to the apiary immediately. Only the apiary owner makes these changes.
How to open the sharing list¶
- On the Apiaries screen, touch the share icon in the top bar.
- Select the Shared tab.
The list shows each person with an Access: field and an Invitation: field (the status).
How to change the access level¶
- On the Shared list, touch the person.
- On the Sharing details screen, select a new Access type. You can also change the Name.
- Touch Save. To stop without a change, touch Cancel.
You cannot change the e-mail address. When the address is wrong, withdraw the invitation and send a new one to the correct address.
How to withdraw a share¶
- On the Shared list, touch the person.
- Touch Withdraw invitation.
- The app asks Withdraw invitation? and shows This person will immediately lose access to the apiary. Confirm.
The status changes to Withdrawn. The person gets a notification that their access is withdrawn.
What the invitation statuses mean¶
- Pending acceptance: the person has not decided yet. The person has no access.
- Accepted: the person has access to the apiary.
- Rejected: the person rejected the invitation.
- Withdrawn: you withdrew the access.
- Left: the person left the apiary.
A share with one of the last three statuses is closed and read-only. To give access again, send a new invitation.
How to remove a closed share from the list¶
- On the row of the closed share, touch the bin icon. On a phone, you can also swipe the row to the left.
- The app asks Remove from list?. Confirm.
The entry goes out of your list. The access does not change.
Good to know¶
- When your plan has expired, you cannot change the shares.
- To see who has access to the apiary, look at the Shared list: the persons with the status Accepted.
